Located on the shores of Lake Embrun, in the heart of an exceptional natural setting between lake and mountains, Camping Municipal La Clapière offers a holiday experience in harmony with nature. Set in a shady 4-hectare park, it offers an ideal setting for relaxation, while encouraging visitors to discover the sensitive environments of the surrounding area, such as the shores of Lake Serre-Ponçon and the trails of the Ecrins National Park.

Committed to preserving the environment, the campsite regularly plants trees, offers composters, distributes free sorting bags and plans to install bird houses. Even felled trees are reused to create natural decorations, demonstrating a complete ecological approach that respects the site.

Practical eco-actions to protect the site

Environmental protection is an integral part of the campsite’s operations:

Compulsory waste sorting, with dedicated collection areas to facilitate recycling.
Respectful wastewater management, with campers asked to empty only in the designated areas.
Strict rules aim to preserve cleanliness, vegetation and biodiversity throughout the site (no water spills or pollution on the ground).
